Each step describes the picture first, then quotes what the voice says.

How it works
The bot checks a creator’s feed every minute if they upload daily, less often the less they upload, and at most ten minutes apart if they have been quiet for months. YouTube’s feed can itself run up to 15 minutes behind. With very many creators followed across ZombyIO, the checks are spaced further apart.
Shorts can go to a channel of their own, or nowhere at all, separately from the long videos.
The bot needs permission to write in the channel you pick, or the announcement never appears.
Set it up in three steps
Add ZombyIO to your server
Click “Add to Discord”, choose the server and confirm. Quick Start opens straight afterwards and asks what the server is for.
Add to DiscordOpen YouTube notifications in the dashboard
Your server list, then YouTube notifications: two clicks. Or press Ctrl K anywhere in the dashboard and type the name.
Set it up and save
Paste the YouTube channel's address or @name and click Look it up. Pick the Discord channel the announcements go to, then save.
What is free, and what Premium adds
Premium costs €6 a month per server and is shared by every admin of that server. It raises limits, it does not unlock the feature.

Is YouTube notifications free?
Yes. YouTube notifications works on the free plan, which is not a trial and does not expire. Premium costs €6 a month per server and only raises the limits in the table above.
How quickly does a new video show up in Discord?
ZombyIO checks a creator’s YouTube feed every minute if they upload daily or many servers follow them, less often the less they upload, and at most ten minutes apart if they have been quiet for months. YouTube’s feed can itself run up to 15 minutes behind. Most posts appear a few minutes after publishing, and up to half an hour for a creator coming back from a long break. When very many creators are followed across ZombyIO, the checks are spaced further apart, quiet creators first.
Will it post old videos when I add a creator?
No. Only uploads that appear after you add the creator are announced. Their back catalogue stays out of your channel.
