Discord leveling bot with XP and role rewards
Members earn XP for talking and climb levels. Reward the regulars with roles.

This is how it looks in Discord
Reward activity with XP, ranks and role rewards.

Each step describes the picture first, then quotes what the voice says.
Big white words build up over blurred chat bubbles drifting up a black screen; “Show them.” is set in gold.
“Your regulars keep the server alive. Show them.”
An orange circle opens from the centre. Under the ZombyIO logo the title “Levelling” appears, and the green zombie mascot in a headset springs up holding a gold trophy.
“Meet ZombyIO Levelling.”
Headline “Chatting earns XP. Spamming does not.” In #general, messages from Alex and Mia earn +18, +21 and +24 XP. Alex’s rapid follow-ups get only “Cooldown” tags, and Alex’s XP bar shows “Cooldown 60 s”.
“Members earn XP for chatting, with a cooldown, so nobody spams their way up.”
Alex posts again for +23 XP. His bar fills, “Level 11” flips to “Level 12”, a gold “Regular” role badge drops in, and ZombyIO posts “@Alex reached level 12!”
“Reach a level, get a role.”
Alex types /rank. ZombyIO answers: Level 12, 7,386 XP, Rank 3 of 128, next reward @Veteran at level 15. Mia’s /leaderboard follows: Mia, Kai, then Alex, whose row lights up.
“Rank and leaderboard, right inside Discord.”
Headline “Level-ups land where you want them.” On a zomby.io dashboard the choice moves from “Where they were talking” to “In one channel” (#level-ups) to “By direct message”; a Discord preview shows each result.
“Level-ups land where they were talking, in one channel, or by DM.”
A big gold “Free.” over “XP, levels, /rank and the leaderboard on every server, with ten reward roles.” Chips: “10 reward roles”, “/rank · /leaderboard”, “Level-up announcements”.
“Free, with ten reward roles.”
End card: the ZombyIO logo, a green zombie face in a blue headset, above “ZombyIO” and “Run your Discord server without the busywork.” A white button reads “zomby.io”, with “Free for every server” below.
“ZombyIO. Add it free at zomby.io.”
How it works
XP is awarded per message, with a cooldown so nobody can spam their way up.
The level curve is the same as MEE6’s, so every level takes the XP it took there. Levels start at zero, and /xp set can enter a member’s old total by hand.
Exclude bot channels, or off-topic spam becomes the fastest route to level 50.

Questions about Levelling
Is Levelling free?
Yes. Levelling works on the free plan, which is not a trial and does not expire. Premium costs €6 a month per server and only raises the limits in the table above.
Why did a member not get the reward role for their level?
Check the role order first. ZombyIO can only grant roles that sit below its own role in your server’s role list, so move the ZombyIO role above every reward role.
Can I stop level-up messages from filling up the chat?
Yes. Under “Level-up announcement” you choose where they go: where the member was talking, one channel, a direct message, or nowhere. Messages in a channel can also remove themselves after up to an hour.
