ZombyIO

Discord bot that turns Twitch watchtime into rewards

Viewers link Twitch and Discord once, watch the stream, and drops land in their DMs: XP, roles, gift codes. Lurking counts.

This is how it looks in Discord

Turn Twitch watchtime into XP, roles and gifts, delivered by direct message.

Each step describes the picture first, then quotes what the voice says.

  1. Big white words build up over blurred chat bubbles drifting up a black screen; “paid off?” is in pink.

“What if watching your stream paid off?”

  2. A magenta circle opens. Under the ZombyIO logo the title “Stream Drops” appears, and the zombie mascot in a headset springs up holding a gift box on a parachute, while more parachute gifts float nearby.

    “Meet ZombyIO Stream Drops.”

  3. Headline “Link once. Then just watch.” On zomby.io/twitch/kai, Twitch shows “Connected as alex_tv” and Discord “Signed in as Alex”. Then Kai’s live stream plays as “Your watchtime today” runs from 58 min to 1 h 5 min.

“Viewers link Twitch and Discord once, then just watch.”

  4. Headline “Drops land in their DMs.” A DM from ZombyIO gets three “A drop for you!” messages, their rewards lit in turn: “250 XP on Night Owls.”, “The role VIP on Night Owls.”, “Your gift: 7KQ2-M9XA-4TPL”.

“Drops land in their DMs. XP, roles, gift codes.”

  5. Headline “Lurking counts too.” In Kai’s chat, mia_plays, noah_gg and ben_irl post short messages; sleepy_sam, dozing under floating z’s, types nothing, yet every watchtime keeps rising. A pill: “Watching quietly counts.”

“And lurking counts. Nobody has to type a thing.”

  6. Headline “Every viewer sees their watchtime.” Alex’s drops page counts up: Today 1 h 5 min, This month 4 h 12 min, All time 12 h 40 min. “Your drops” lists the gift code, the VIP role and 250 XP.

“Your drops page shows every viewer their watchtime.”

  7. A big pink “Free.” over “Stream Drops on every server, with three rewards per campaign and 25 gift codes.” Chips: “XP · roles · gift codes”, “Lurking counts”, “A drops page for every viewer”.

    “Free to use.”

  8. End card: the ZombyIO logo, a green zombie face in a blue headset, above “ZombyIO” and “Run your Discord server without the busywork.” A white button reads “zomby.io”, with “Free for every server” below.

“ZombyIO. Add it free at zomby.io.”

Questions about Stream Drops

Is Stream Drops free?

Yes. Stream Drops works on the free plan, which is not a trial and does not expire. Premium costs €6 a month per server and only raises the limits in the table above.

What if a viewer has their DMs turned off?

They still get the drop, because it does not depend on the message. The viewer finds it on their drops page, gift code included, with a note that the message could not be sent. Only a role can be held up, when Discord does not let ZombyIO give it: the viewer’s page then says so, your Stream Drops page lists who is waiting, and ZombyIO gives it to them once the role works.

Can one viewer collect unlimited drops?

No. You set how many drops one viewer can get per day, 5 by default and 50 at most, and the day resets at midnight UTC. Before every drop the bot also checks that the viewer is still on your server.
