Where MEE6 is ahead
MEE6 has years of head start, and some things are simply not in ZombyIO yet:
- Alerts for Twitch, X, TikTok and other platforms. ZombyIO covers YouTube so far.
- Custom commands.
- Timed messages on a schedule.
- An AI assistant, sold as a separate subscription.
If your server depends on one of these today, run both bots side by side. They do not interfere with each other.

Frequently asked questions
Is ZombyIO a good free MEE6 alternative?
For the everyday features, yes: moderation, levels with role rewards, reaction roles, welcome messages, tickets, YouTube alerts and logs are free, with a web dashboard in five languages. For Twitch alerts or custom commands, MEE6 or another bot is still ahead.
Can I run ZombyIO and MEE6 at the same time?
Yes. Bots do not conflict. Just avoid running the same feature in both, or your members get two welcome messages.
Can I bring my MEE6 levels with me?
Not yet. Levels start fresh when you switch. If an import matters to you, tell us; enough requests move it up the list.
What does Premium cost, compared directly?
ZombyIO Premium is 6.00 EUR a month or 61.20 EUR a year. MEE6 lists 11.99 USD a month or 49.99 USD a year. Both apply per server.
Why is ZombyIO cheaper?
Small team, lean infrastructure, no paid advertising. And the free plan is the point: Premium only has to carry the servers that outgrow it.
