How ZombyIO Premium works for your Discord server

Premium belongs to a server, not to a person, and every admin of that server shares it. Every feature works on the free plan; Premium raises the limits and adds a few extras, such as the bot’s own picture on your server.

Takes about 3 minutes

What you will end up with

The server carries a Premium badge in your server list and on its pages, and every admin of it gets the higher limits straight away.

Step by step

  1. Step 1: Know what the free plan includes

Every feature works on the free plan, and the free plan has no time limit. What differs is how much of each you can have, for example:

    • 3 reaction role panels, 10 triggers and 3 blueprints.
    • 10 level reward roles and 3 roles given on join.
    • 2 YouTube and 3 Twitch channels.
    • 1 ticket panel with 3 support teams, and transcripts kept for 30 days.
    • 1 log channel, 100 of your own words in the spam filter and 1 anti-bot trap channel.

Each feature’s guide shows exactly what is free there and what Premium adds.

  2. Step 2: See what Premium raises

Premium lifts those limits: 80 reaction role panels, 200 triggers, 50 blueprints, 100 level rewards, 15 roles on join, 50 YouTube and 50 Twitch channels, 50 ticket panels with 25 teams, transcripts kept for 365 days, the log split across 8 channels, 5,000 filter words and 25 trap channels.

A few things only Premium has:

    • Your own bot picture, banner and bio on the server.
    • The generated welcome image and the rank card picture for /rank.
    • XP multipliers for roles and channels.
    • Spam filter rules limited to certain channels or roles.
    • Uploading your own background pictures, up to 6 MB.
  3. Step 3: Buy Premium for a server

Open the server in the dashboard and choose Billing in the sidebar, or press Upgrade next to the server’s name. Pick Monthly at 6 EUR, or Yearly at 61.20 EUR, which is 15% less than twelve months. Prices include VAT. Continue to payment takes you to the payment page, and you come back to the billing page afterwards.

Other ways to pay, on the same page:

    • Subscribe through Discord, where Discord charges you and sends the receipts. It is monthly only. /premium in your server opens the same offer.
    • Discount or gift code: a discount lowers the price at checkout, a gift code switches Premium on at once.
    • Pay with Zomby balance, shown when your balance covers at least a month. Prepaid time does not renew; it simply runs out.

    Tip

The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it, and you can cancel at any time. The billing page says so beside the payment options.

  4. Step 4: Share it with the other admins

Premium belongs to the server it was bought for, whoever paid. The higher limits apply to that server, so every admin who opens it in the dashboard can use them. It does not carry over to your other servers.

The payment itself stays with the person who paid: only they see the card, the invoices and Manage subscription.

While a subscription is active, the billing page offers no second one, and /premium on the server says it already has Premium.

  5. Step 5: Give the bot your server’s look

Under Bot profile in the sidebar you can change how ZombyIO appears on this server only. Name on this server is free on every plan, up to 32 characters. Picture, Banner and Bio are Premium. The picture is cropped to a square, the banner to a wide strip, and the bio holds up to 190 characters.

Everything reaches Discord in one go when you press Save. Discord allows only a few profile changes in a short time, so wait a moment if it asks you to.

    Tip

Use the standard one and No banner are free on every plan, so you can always go back to ZombyIO’s own look.

  6. Step 6: Check, change or cancel the subscription

Every admin sees the plan on the billing page and one line on what happens next, such as the date and amount of the next charge, or the date a cancelled subscription ends.

    • Bought on the website: the person who paid sees Manage subscription, which opens the payment page where they change the card, read invoices and cancel. Their invoices are also listed on the billing page with Download PDF. Other admins see neither, because both show the buyer’s card and address.
    • Bought through Discord: cancel in your Discord settings under Subscriptions. Receipts are in your Discord settings under Billing.

Everything you bought on the website, for any server, is also listed under Your purchases in your settings, with Manage subscription and the invoices. It stays there after you leave the server or stop being an admin of it.

After you cancel, Premium keeps running until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged. You can also cancel without signing in on the cancellation page, with the server ID and the Discord user ID of the account that bought it.

  7. Step 7: Know what happens when Premium ends

Your settings stay saved and work again as soon as the server has Premium again, except the bot’s picture, banner and bio.

Until then, where a list is longer than the free plan allows, only the first entries count: the first 10 triggers, the first 3 blueprints, the first 3 roles on join, the first 2 YouTube and 3 Twitch channels and the first trap channel. Of the level rewards, the 10 with the lowest levels are handed out. The bot’s picture, banner and bio go back to standard three days after the paid period ends. Its name stays.

If a payment fails and your card is being tried again, the server keeps Premium in the meantime.

Something not working?

The problems people run into most often, and how to fix each one.

I paid but the server still shows Free

Premium switches on once the payment is confirmed, which can take a moment. Reload the billing page. Check that you bought it for the right server: Premium belongs to the one server whose billing page you used, or the one you picked in Discord.

Continue to payment brings me back with an error

The message at the top of the billing page says what happened. Usually the server already has Premium, for example because another admin bought it in the meantime: nothing was charged, and Current plan shows what is active. Otherwise the payment page did not open. Nothing was charged then either, so try again in a moment.

Another admin bought Premium. Can I manage it?

You get every Premium limit, and the billing page shows you the plan and the date of the next charge or of the end. Manage subscription and the invoices are only shown to the person who paid, because they show that person’s card, address and payment history. To stop the subscription, ask them to cancel it. If that is not possible, send a cancellation on the cancellation page. Sent with your own user ID, it is checked by our team before anything changes, because the contract is theirs. A subscription bought through Discord can only be managed in the Discord account that bought it.

I paid for a server I no longer manage

Open the menu with your avatar at the top of the dashboard and choose Settings. Your purchases there lists every subscription you bought on the website, for any server, with its status, the next charge or the end date, and its invoices. Manage subscription opens the payment page, where you change the card or cancel, whether or not you are still an admin of the server. If a payment failed, the server keeps Premium while the payment is tried again, so update the card there soon.

Where is my invoice?

Payments made on the website are listed under Invoices on the billing page, each with Download PDF. You see only the invoices for your own payments. Your purchases in your settings lists them for every server you paid for, older purchases included. Purchases through Discord are billed by Discord: the receipts are in your Discord settings under Billing.

My discount code is refused

The code may not exist, may not be valid yet, may have expired or may be used up. Discount codes only apply to payments on the website; purchases inside Discord keep Discord’s price.

Can I pay yearly through Discord?

No. Discord only offers the monthly subscription. The yearly plan, 15% cheaper, is only available on the billing page.

The bot’s picture went back to standard

Premium ended on this server more than three days ago, so the picture, banner and bio were reset. The name you gave it stays. With Premium again, upload them again under Bot profile. If the bot is removed from a server, Discord drops its look there too.

Still stuck?

Ask in the ZombyIO support server. Bring your support ID, your server’s support ID and a sentence about what you expected to happen, and someone will look at it with you.
